Yet more flickr stuff.
I completed the wig form mosaic, just have to grout it.
LOL it’s always one more thing that needs completed when I post.

Started work on another relief just because I love doing them.
Playing with clay… fun stuff!

This one will be all mosaic tiles of some sort.
I plan to put “in progress” pictures at each step.
I am changing my web site to reflect my art first and the
other businesses second. I want to have a step by step
guide of this relief process when I am finished.
Perhaps I can teach it locally someday.

Interestingly, in all the art shows and galleries that we have
gone to lately, not one artist does mosaic’s.
Some do a few mixed media things, but no true mosaics.
There are no stained glass stores or mosaic stores near here
by a few states. Most of my supplies are bought on line.
I hate that.

I have seen a few beautiful pebble mosaics lately.
Just simple rock used to create beautiful patterns.
I want to do a few stepping stones with them.

On the puppy front.
Hmmmm we have decided on another pup!
Not that we dont just adore Jan’s original choice,
but the dogs have chosen the other remaining puppy.
Lil’ Bit (spoiled yoorkie) allows this pup she chose to sleep
with her, crawl on her and kisses him daily. She growls at the
one we were going to keep. It’s such a toss up as they are
both adorable. The rest are gone. Sadie too. She went with
her girl puppy to the same people. We will see her often as
they are good friends. We are just waiting a while so she
doesn’t feel rejected when we leave her there again. I felt
awful about it, but now I don’t. The house is quiet again.
Sadie was the alarm for all the dogs, she started the barking
pretty much every time. She was also sneaking under our very
tall bed a while ago and pooping! I had to build a gate for the
damned door so we could have air in there in the daytime.
No more gate… it’s wonderful to be able to walk into your own
bedroom without an obstruction.

Hilary is in Charleston for 10 days with her best friends family.
We never had fall break when I was in school. Now they get 10
days in the fall and two more weeks at Christmas! Seems like
too much to me. She is having a blast at the beach in a condo.
pffttt.
