Atlanta day
February 5, 2008Off to Atlanta with Jan and Becky on a
glass buying and Ikea trip.
Gonna take pictures of the candy store
(glass store) I shop at.
It is chock full of wonderful sheets of glass.
I have managed to get Becky addicted to glass.
She has been dying to go for a while.
I need to try to be good and not buy too much.
But I do have this commission I am doing and…
Just sayin. I’m buying some damned glass people!
Will post pictures later.
Thanks Rox, we are fine, I’m a bitch as I said.
She didn’t mean it that way, and I knew that.
But still, my feelings are mine and I have
the right to them and to express them here.
I know you get all of that!
It’s my blog and I’ll bitch if I want to.
Sung to “it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to”
will vote for this chick when I get back.

Me in heaven

Magnets hold the cart in place,
you don’t have to hold it at all.

I’d love to have an IKEA within a two hour drive of here…sadly, the closest one is 4.5 hours away! Have fun and I can’t wait to see what you make with what you buy!
SaS I sent you an email, maybe I got stuck in your spam mail?
I can’t vote in the primary because I’m an Independent. However, if I COULD vote in the democratic primary, I’d choose Obama. The Clintons promised the moon and the stars to many different groups last time around, and did nothing. And as bad as the economy has gotten, the fault doesn’t lie solely with Bush…things started to sink when Clinton signed NAFTA. We have never recovered from that.
The country has been in a downward spiral for quite some time now. If Hillary is ultimately elected, it will mean that we will have at least 20 years of the same 2 families running the nation. I think we need change, in every sense of the word. Obama, to me, is exactly the change we need. So, I’m with your kids on this one!
bahhh, Jaded ! Still love ya!
Bee/K, got it, will read and get
back to you asap. I want to take
my time with it.
Sorry, been swamped with stuff to do.
It would be a blast to go with you Rox,
there are so many odd things to look at.
We love it.
Pictures of what I bought to mosaic on in
my flickr link. Becky was worn out and went
right home, she got most of the same stuff
Those magnetic shopping carts are so cool! I live about 2 hours away from a HUGE Ikea store, but they don’t have the cool shopping cart thing. The glass place looks incredible…I can hardly wait to see how the piece progresses!
And considering I used to be a Republican, even though we like different candidates, we’re much more similar in our thinking now than we used to be!
