Cast Of Characters…

Annie/Scribble,
Writer, Artist, Mom, Spouse, angst ridden almost 50 year old.
The bane of your existence, yet you keep coming
back for more. I do so love ya for it all!

Jan/Fred/George/Da Honey,
my much better half.
A quiet soul, a gentle and good woman.
Frustrating, infuriating and adored.
All at once. None of it is possible without her.

Three children, mine biologically, Jan’s by choice.

John Paul/JPB
22 year old son.
A dreamer, shy, gentle, finding his way.

Katherine/ Kate/ Katie Lyn
21 year old daughter.
A writer who doesn’t. Brilliant woman.
Moving out on her own for the first time,
beginning her life.

Hilary/Hil
my baby girl, 18 year old daughter.
A soprano, musically in tune.
Emotional, giving, beautiful.
Loves shoes and technology.

Lil’ Bit, Yorkie
6 years old, spoiled by all.
Adores Jan above all others. A quiet
force the others dogs obey and cater to.
The princess.

Teddy, 4 years old.
A white bear of a Shih Tzu
Beautiful and kind. In love with Lil’ Bit
at all times. Tolerates Zoe.

Zoe, 1 year old Cocker.
Crazy hair to match her personality.
Adored by everyone but most especially me.
In her eyes I am everything. She holds my heart.

All other people mentioned come and go,
friends are named unless they have said that
they mind. Or there is a compelling reason to
use only an initial. Just to keep everyone as
safe as they need to be.

The stories here are my reflections on my life.
As I remember them. If you know me in real life and
could swear that it was a yellow house, and not blue,
I don’t really care. These are my words, my experiences.
If the error is glarily there and I agree, I will correct it.
Otherwise, let it be.

I try at all times to live my life honestly.
That includes what is written here.
No stories for effect, no drama staged to sell space.
No ads are bought or paid for through this blog.
It is on a free server and costs nothing to maintain.
There is no need to entice readership in that manner.

It is just a life like yours, written as it comes.
Sometimes raw, sometimes too sweet,
always real, always me.
